St. Luke's general internists provide long-term, comprehensive care in the office and the hospital, managing both common illnesses and complex problems for adolescents, adults, and the elderly. General internists are trained in the essentials of primary care internal medicine which incorporates an understanding of disease prevention, wellness, substance abuse, mental health and effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs. All of St. Luke's internists are trained in the subspecialty areas of internal medicine including emergency internal medicine and critical care. Our well-trained internists are unique in their ability to deliver care with great professional expertise and the personal touch that set St. Luke's apart.

St. Luke's Episcopal Health System offers inpatient and outpatient programs that emphasize continuing and comprehensive care for the individuals and their families. Outpatient care is provided in The O'Quinn Medical Tower at St. Luke's and physician offices throughout the Houston area.
