Free seminar on weight loss surgery Oct. 21 at St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital
The Woodlands, TX – A free informational seminar about weight loss surgery will be held on Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital in the Lakeview Conference Room A.
This seminar will provide information about the latest surgical weight loss techniques including roux-en-Y gastric bypass and laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding surgeries. The discussion will also cover life changes that follow weight loss surgery, weight loss management, and obesity-related complications. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet patients who have had bariatric surgery.
As part of the hospital’s bariatric program, St. Luke’s offers a multidisciplinary approach toward bariatric surgery. The team of dedicated health care professionals includes dietitians, exercise therapists, nurses, board-certified physicians and surgeons who are dedicated to helping patients reach their goal of achieving healthy, sustained weight loss.
