
David Fine, president and chief executive officer, St. Luke's Episcopal Health System
David Fine joined St. Luke's in 2004 from a position as CEO of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System (UABHS), a joint venture of the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation and the University of Alabama Board of Trustees. UABHS manages publicly and privately owned healthcare delivery assets, comprising some $1.4 billion in net patient revenues. Mr. Fine brings a record of great depth and breadth of leadership experience. In addition to his five years at UABHS, he has served more than 20 years as CEO at four major teaching hospitals, including Tulane University Medical Center, University of Cincinnati Medical Center, The University of Nebraska Hospital and Clinic and The University of California Hospitals and Clinics.

Debra F. Sukin, M.H.A., vice president and chief executive officer, St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital and St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital
Debra Sukin is chief executive officer, St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital, and assistant vice president, St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System.
A Houston native, Ms. Sukin earned a bachelor's degree, with honors, in Health Care Administration from Virginia's Mary Baldwin College and a master's in Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She was accepted as a Fellow, and later served as manager of Corporate and International Programs, at Duke University Hospital and Health Network.
In 1998, she returned to Houston to join The Methodist Hospital as director of Heart Center Development and Transplant Services. A year later, she was named vice president of Operations and added governance responsibility for The Methodist DeBakey Heart Center Board. She was also responsible for radiology, pharmacy, bed control and international services.
Ms. Sukin is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Heart Association and the Houston Junior League. She is currently a member of the Mary Baldwin College Alumnae Board and has served on the Washington University Health Administration Board.

In 2007 St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System invited local community, business and medical leaders to serve on the Board of Directors for St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital. As an integral component of our long-term strategic plan, the Board ensures the hospital’s commitment to providing superior patient care to The Woodlands and surrounding communities.
